Because

People need initiative, but for those who don't, they need a motive.

National Anti-Bullying Day. Something that seems to be the flavor of the month right now, campaign against those who bully, and cheers on those who are. But, really, what are you achieving? Have you ever been bullied? You can't understand what it possibly feels like, to be bullied, shoved around, harassed because you were the runt of the litter. Punched and kicked because you were different. "No, you're not normal, you're a freak". Such things heard throughout the processes in which someone slowly and painfully takes the life out of another fellow human being. The rhyme which feels like a lash to the face. Sticks and Stone will break my bones but words will never hurt me. For those who can't have experienced it, you can't say get over it. You just possibly can't understand the pain at which being called something, or a freak, or an idiot, maybe a spastic rather than your own definition of yourself. You don't know how painful it is.
And you don't get that, "Get over it,it happens everyday" isn't a tool for cheering somebody up, rather, it's a shove in the back, when they're at the edge of a cliff. Can you understand that teetering off of a ledge, that you just killed someone? Can you tell the difference of freak and different? Have you ever been punched, kicked, called names, push out of a line, stolen from, just because you were different? Trust me, its much more than it sounds. And so much of this happens everyday.

I hate to say it, but...Are you actually solving the problem? Or making it worse? Because even though you think you are helping, you may just be pushing someone even further into the reaches of somewhere unknown to you. Somewhere where you don't exist, neither do I. Because they're secluded, they don't want to live a life like this anymore. They don't want your sympathy or maybe even fake consolation. Nobody wants to hear giggling after a stupid "I'm so sorry". It's like getting a knife, and stabbing someone over and over, through their hearts, until it tears open. Then they're free, free from you and I. Free from the dreadful world, full of sin, hate and malice. Why? They chose to leave this world on their own feet. They said "Screw physics, screw gravity, and mostly, screw this world". They jumped off and landed a place which you will follow somewhere down your path in life. Then they'll greet you like an old friend. Why? Because they have been through so much more than you ever did. They know what the world is like It helps to know that.

And just don't ever say "I'm sorry". Just nod your head, and move on. It's not getting over it, it's moving on. Your consoling won't work. It's just pointless. It's happened. What are you going to do? Rewind time? Just so you can watch it happen again? NO! IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT! PEOPLE KNOW WHAT'S JUST HAPPENED, THEY MAY NOT KNOW WHY IT HAPPENED, BUT THEY ALL KNOW IT DID JUST HAPPEN. SO STOP REMINDING THEM THAT IT DID. MOVE ON, and help them move onto a better part of life. Don't stand and mope, and say I'm sorry. Don't say "Get over it" or "I'm so sorry". Just nod your head, to acknowledge they've been through hard times. And help them to move on.

Forwards is somewhere no-one's ever been. It's a place where everything and nothing could happen. Time and space are a twisted thing in times to come. It may be good, or bad. Because it's better to live one's life in uncertainty, than to live it in misery of the past.
